IoF2020 Final Event: the future of farming is here

One of the most important aspects of IoF2020 is its innovation ecosystem of key agri-tech players in Europe and beyond. This will be reflected through interactive sessions from all of the large-scale pilot’s stakeholders. This event will comprise workshops from the IoF2020 consortium and use case partners, alongside contributions from external experts. It will address three main aspects, which are relevant to the project and the agricultural sector alike: state-of-the-art technology, lessons learned during the project’s research, and self-sustaining ecosystems of research and innovation.

  • March 16 - Day 1: State of the art technology. In a series of transversal workshops, participants will have the chance to learn about what happened in the 33 use cases, the technologies used, the issues faced and the solutions developed.
  • March 17 – Day 2: Lessons learned during the project’s research and the impact of IoF2020. On this day, you can examine the achievements of 4 years of research and technology deployment, Internet of Things innovation at EU level, opinions from the farmer community, business validation and data management.
  • March 18 – Day 3: The heritage of IoF2020. Participants will discover what the ecosystems of research and innovation are working on along the lines of IoF2020, with possible new collaborations, upcoming open calls and policy recommendations based on the project's findings.

The team will also dedicate some time to present participants with a multi-media spectacle including our IoF2020 cinema room and an exhibition area where they can explore the use cases and have direct exchanges.
