The Medical Informatics Europe (MIE) aims to enable close interaction and networking between an international audience of academics, health professionals, patients and industry partners.

MIE 2018 is hosted by the Swedish Association of Medical Informatics (SFMI) in collaboration with the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) and it is co-located with VITALIS, the biggest eHealth event in Scandinavia.

During MIE 2018, a final conference of the EU-funded EU*US eHealth Work project will take place on 25 April. It will present the outcomes of its mission to map skills and competencies, provide access to knowledge tools and platforms, and strengthen, disseminate and exploit success outcomes for a skilled transatlantic eHealth workforce.

You will learn about the current state of health information technology skills, work and workforce development throughout Europe, the United States and globally.
