It also highlights how it brought digital technology closer to businesses, citizens and public administrations, through digital skills training.
The report confirms the programme's key role in the implementation of digital policies, as well as its strategic importance and ability to respond to evolving challenges and dynamics in the growing digital sector.
The findings of the review are reflected in the design of the proposed European Competitiveness Fund for the next Multiannual Financial Framework.
