Broadband Internet Access Cost (BIAC) study

  • REPORT / STUDY
  • Publicación 30 septiembre 2016

The Broadband Internet Access Cost (BIAC) study analyses and compares how much residential customers actually pay for fixed broadband in the 28 EU Member States and a number of other countries (Canada, Iceland, Japan, South Korea, Liechtenstein, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Norway, USA (i.e. State of California, State of Colorado and State of New York), Switzerland and Turkey).

The report presents broadband prices in autumn 2015 in several manners:

  1. Overall horizontal analysis of trends on the broadband market;
  2. Country fiches presenting an analysis per EU Member State. Per country, type of service offering and speed basket, the least expensive offer is identified, and its total monthly price is subsequently compared between countries and over time.
