The Animation Industry Confronted with the Environmental Challenge: Editorial Approaches and Good Production Practices Production Organisation
On 17 June from 9 to 10.15 am, MEDIA will participate in a panel on the ecological issue in animated series.
For environmental issues, but also for consistency with their values and their editorial line, some companies in the animation industry seek to reduce their carbon footprint with the difficulty of knowing where to get started.
Design, production, distribution: each stage of a project will be considered by a panel of professionals who have been involved in this topics for several years.

Q&A with A.L.I.C.E, The Animation League for Increased Cooperation in Europe
At 2pm, MEDIA will be part of a discussion on how ALICE intends to boost animation in Europe. Representatives of ALICE will present proposals to foster co-productions and how they fit into the goals of Creative Europe MEDIA, in three interviews with Mrs. Mar Sáez Pedrero (PROA), Mr. Philippe Reynaert (Wallimage), and Mrs. Lucia Recalde (CREATIVE EUROPE MEDIA programme) as a special guest.
The event will finish with a live Q&A session.

InvestEU and financial tools
From 2.30 to 3 pm, we are organising a streaming session where we will discuss InvestEU and the new financial tools for cultural and creative sectors.
Building on the success of the Creative Europe's Cultural and Creative sectors Guarantee Facility, the InvestEU will offer extended opportunities for financing of cultural and creative companies, with a special focus on audio-visual. Learn about the new MediaInvest equity instrument, which will focus on audio-visual companies and also the next steps for the new Guarantee Facility, a debt instrument that will keep fostering the cultural and creative sectors across all Europe.
