The Alliance and its various working groups have met for the first time in December 2021. Members include relevant stakeholders from industry, Member States representatives and other experts from across Europe. They will collaborate to strengthen Europe’s industrial capacities in disruptive cloud and edge technologies and meeting users’ needs for processing highly sensitive data.
The secretariat should support the work of the members of the Alliance by helping to coordinate the operational work. Among other, the secretariat’s:
- Logistical, and practical support of the day to day work of the Alliance, including the organisation of working group meetings;
- Organisation of flagship events, including the General Assembly and the Alliance Forum;
- External and internal communication of the Alliance, including maintenance of the website;
- Editorial and strategic support to shape the key deliverables of the Alliance in the area of cloud and edge.
Detailed requirements are set out in the Call for proposals: Cloud Data and TEF (see page 12). Applicants must be a legal entity or a consortium of legal entities fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
