Inspired and supported by the Horizon 2020 program, six world leading companies from four different EU countries have founded the PING (Printed Intelligent NFC Game cards and packaging) consortium to bring flexible electronics from the lab to mainstream markets.
The overall goal of this consortium is to enable and facilitate the production of smart printed objects. Flexible electronics and printed materials, like cards, stickers and packaging, make a perfect combination to realise the Internet of Things.
Looking further, the aim is to reinvent the industry’s standards in assembly process and the conversion into game cards and packaging, making even more objects part of the Internet of Things and the ‘internet of games’.
Join us in finding more about the creation of this breakthrough technology that brings life to games and packaging.
The session will take place at DG CONNECT BU25 0/S1, Avenue de Beaulieu 25, 1160 Auderghem, on 1st of June from 12:00 till 13:00.
