€12million available for cybersecurity under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) instrument

A call for proposals is now open to national and/or governmental Computer Emergency Response Teams' (CERTs)/Computer Security Incident Response Teams'(CSIRTs) in all Member States. Funding will support the national/governmental CERTs/CSIRTs to create, maintain or expand national capacities to run a range of cybersecurity services.

This shold allow them  to reach a state of preparedness that will allow them to participate on an equal footing in the Cyber Security Core Service Platform - cooperation mechanisms established through the CEF's 2015 Work Programme. The deadline for submission is 21 September 2017.
