What's new?
The new EIRA© 2.0.0 includes the following major changes:
- Alignment with the new European Interoperability Framework and the Interoperability Action Plan
- Upgrade to ArchiMate© 3 (previously ArchiMate© 2.1)
- Improved use of interoperability specifications
- Simplification of the legal view
- Revised descriptions of all building blocks

Related release: Cartography Tool
Together with the new EIRA©, the European Commission recently released an updated version of the Cartography Tool. This is a tool for modelling IT solutions based on the EIRA© structure. Both the EIRA© and the Cartography Tool support interoperability and the reuse of IT solutions by public administrations, thus accelerating the delivery of public services in a cost-effective manner.
