Support Services for the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs

The European Commission has launched a call for tenders for a service contract with a total price that cannot exceed One million Euros today.

The objective of the support services contract is for the contractor to act as the Secretariat of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs. The contractor's aim should be to enhance, develop and extend the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs partnership in coordination with the contracting service.

The Secretariat should act as the central information repository and guidance point for actual and potential local, national and European stakeholders of the Grand Coalition. It should promote and facilitate the transparent exchange of experience, solutions, best practices, and data.

The contractor will be required to carry out three main interlinked strands of work:

  1. Scale-up the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs with the objective of covering the full range of
    • digital skills ranging from basic to professional;
    • economic sectors; and
    • likely contributors, e.g. businesses, Member States, education and training providers, employment services, civil society.
  2. Ensure communication on the goals and achievements of the Grand Coalition with the objective of ensuring visibility and activating broad adherence and commitment to the initiative.
  3. Provide organisational support with the objective of facilitating the smooth and effective functioning of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs and ensuring coherence, quality and delivery of the set objectives.
