DSM cloud stakeholder meeting

The public conference of this plenary meeting of the DSM cloud stakeholders will take place on 2 April from 10:00 to 15:00 at the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). It is aimed to inform German stakeholders and all other interested parties about the EU’s policies regarding the free flow of non-personal data and cloud computing. In particular, the event will seek to explain the self-regulatory work done by the CSPCERT working group (on an EU-level cloud security certification scheme) and the SWIPO working group (on data porting for easier switching of cloud service providers).

The event will be opened on 2 April at the Federal Mistry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) by Christian Hirte, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

From 2 April 15:00 onwards, the hosting organisation will offer the opportunity for members of the SWIPO and CSPCERT Working Groups to conduct closed working sessions.
