
After its start in San Sebastian in 2010, The European Robotics Forum has grown into a major annual event with hundreds of attendees every year. The event will have an exhibition area where local and European companies showcase their prototypes, products, and services.
This year's event will be held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and under the Patronage of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
ERF2019 also offers the delegates opportunities to network with roboticists from over 40 countries, during the social events (Welcome Reception and euRobotics Awards Ceremony Banquet Dinner).
From the European Commission, Lucilla Sioli, Director for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Industry in DG CONNECT and Peter Dröll, Director of Industrial Technologies for DG Research & Innovation will be speaking at the official opening. Alexandru Petrescu, Minister for Communication in Romania, MEP Mady Delvaux, Adrian Curaj, General Director of UEFISCDI are among the speakers too.
Finally, as in past years there will be several awards and the much appreciated workshop on Entrepreneurship. The European Commission organises workshops presenting the new H2020 projects from 2018 and the most recent success stories partially funded by the EU are on the programme.
