Large scale pilot projects are testing the specifications for the EU Digital Identity Wallets.
The EU Digital Identity Wallet will be a personal digital wallet that allows a person to securely identify themselves when accessing a range of public and private services. It will store and share documents and allow their signature. It will be available to all EU citizens, residents, and businesses. The Digital EU Programme (DIGITAL) is funding the development and deployment of the eID Wallet and co-funding a number of Large-Scale Pilot (LSP) projects that are developing use-cases for the wallet.
Each pilot project is testing the EU Digital Identity Wallet in a variety of everyday scenarios - Potential is one of them. It aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and growth across six everyday use-cases.
