Code of Practice on Disinformation: new signatories have until 15 November to join the process for drafting the revised Code

Prospective new signatories of the Code of Practice on Disinformation have got until 15 November to join the drafting process, as it enters a crucial phase for delivering the new Code within the expected timeframe

The drafting process of the strengthened Code of Practice on Disinformation is approaching a crucial phase.

New prospective signatories are invited to submit their application by 15 November at the latest, in order to facilitate the process and the delivery of a new Code within the expected timeframe. Beyond that date, stakeholders would still be able to join and take on relevant commitments of the Code once it will be finalised and open for signature, but not take part in its drafting anymore.

To express interest, details can be found in the Joint Call for Interest to join the Code of Practice issued by the Commission and current signatories to the Code in July.
