Cannes Film Festival official selection
Creative Europe MEDIA programme has provided support to strengthen Europe’s audiovisual sector since 1991. The Cannes Film Festival, acknowledging the quality of European filmmaking, has awarded almost 50 films co-financed by MEDIA with its most prestigious prizes: the Palme d'Or, the Grand Prix and the Prix de la Mise en Scène/Best Director.
