Cost-effective large-scale graphene production enabled by Graphene Flagship industrial partner AIXTRON

The company launched two systems for producing graphene through chemical vapour deposition (CVD) under ambient conditions, significantly reducing the cost of graphene films. These breakthroughs will speed up the development of new graphene electronics, sensors and photonics.

These two new systems are the result of the fruitful collaboration within the Graphene Flagship, the EU large-scale initiative to take graphene technologies from the laboratory to the market.
