Nowadays, youngsters are constantly online and increasingly exposed to shocking and harmful contents. This issue deserves a particular attention and should be regulated more effectively. On 28 November, the Utrecht University in collaboration with RENFORCE (Utrecht Centre for Regulation and Enforcement in Europe) and CIER (The Centre for Intellectual Property Law) is organizing a seminar focusing on the protection of minors and on the issue of whether co-regulation can offer a suitable regulatory solution to this issue. During the seminar policy-makers, industry and civil society representatives will dig into the topic and see if and how co-regulatory initiatives can provide for more effective protection of minors in the future. The seminar will be held in Dutch.
