On July 1st, representatives from National funding agencies met in Brussels with Future Internet Accelerators for a workshop exploring the possibilities offered by the open service platform FI-WARE.
FI-WARE is a toolbox for the development of web-based applications, created in the context of the Future Internet Public-Private Partnership (FI-PPP).
The meeting included a presentation of FI-WARE and its advantages, a showcase of exemplary applications (FoodLoop, FI-Guardian), and a concrete operational discussion with Funding Agencies that have already started looking into the use of FI-WARE in their national calls.
