- Raise awareness on the role of copyright to support creativity and cultural diversity and increase overall literacy about copyright rules in public interest institutions with specific focus on the rules applicable to the use of copyright-protected content for research purposes.
- Foster legal knowledge and understanding of copyright rules and their application in practice among researchers and research institutions, on the permitted uses of copyright-protected content to maximise the potential of providing access to knowledge.
