Report / Study | 10 Ianuarie 2017

This study was conducted to support the Commission in gathering the evidence base needed to evaluate Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications and to assist the Commission in assessing a number of policy options, notably from an economic perspective. The study was performed with a view to collect fact and figures, as well as other relevant information, to be used by the Commission in the Regulatory Fitness and Performance Programme (REFIT) evaluation of the ePrivacy Directive and in the work of assessing the policy options that could lead to a possible legislative revision.
