
The exhibit will demonstrate applications either as live demos (running locally or remotely) or as videos in order for the visitors to have a good impression of the benefits of building on top of open platforms.
A preliminary selection of applications to be shown in the exhibition is:
- Remote health monitoring: Several sensors to monitor weight, blood pressure, activity will be available to be used by visitors and results will be visualized in a personal health record.
- Welfare service network: Access to different services related to healthcare information, medication adherence, social activities and agenda for the elderly through a variety of devices, for instance, laptop, tablet and smartphone.
- Help when outdoor: Visitors will be able to try the navigation app in the smartphone as well as the backend app to monitor the localization of the user in real time.
- Safety at home: Sensors provide data for monitoring daily activities at home in order to recognize risky situations (falls, anomalies, etc.) and alert relatives and caregivers.
