European Film Forum: Behind the Scenes of the Screen Industry

Creative Europe MEDIA presented the EFF during the 78th Venice International Film Festival in 2022.

This EFF looks into how the audiovisual industry has adapted to the new context of Covid-19 pandemic and how it is reinventing itself. This past year has shown the importance of public policy, of coordination and of rapid response from public institutions – hence the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility will be in the spotlight. Additionally, the cultural and creative industries have innovated rapidly, experimenting cross-over between different cultural sectors and adapting themselves to new formats and models. Beyond the short-term heavy disruption, how can the current trends drive future innovation?
