This webinar is the first of a series of trainings/listening sessions for European and U.S. SMEs on digital transformation, which takes place in the context of Trade and Technology Council between the European Union and the United States.
The first part of the webinar will consist of a training on how SMEs can recognize cybercriminals and online threats to their business, protect themselves from the risks of operating on the Internet, and make the products and services they sell cyber-secure. We plan to have an EU and U.S. trainer leading this first part of the webinar. In the second part, the floor will be open to SMEs to explain their main challenges with cybersecurity, share best practices and address recommendations directly to the chairs of the working group and the EU and U.S. policy-makers present at the meeting.
Attached you will find a more detailed description and agenda (.pdf) of the webinar, which will be offered in seven languages, namely English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, and Romanian.
As registration is limited to a maximum of 750 people and we aim at having a proper balance between U.S. and EU participants, we encourage you to fill in the registration form as soon as possible.
All confirmed participants will receive a link to the meeting closer to the date of the event.
All non-confirmed participants will be able to access the recording after the meeting. The training will be recorded and made available via a link after the meeting. The discussion will not be recorded.
The European Commission would also like to know which challenges you are encountering regarding digital transformation and invites you kindly take part in a survey to hear from you which digital challenges are most relevant.
