The 2009 seminar was organised by the Academy of European Law ('ERA') on behalf of the European Commission, Information Society and Media Directorate-General. The seminar aimed at highlighting key issues of the telecoms reform and its impact on the role of judiciaries and regulators in the sector. The role of National Regulatory Authorities was discussed in the context of regulation of termination rates and of next generation access networks.
