Graphene Flagship, 2017
Graphene Flagship is looking for new research partners to join the Consortium
The call for expression of interest aims at achieving 15 new competences in graphene and related materials (GRMs) topics such as ecotoxicity, neural interfaces, sensors or smart textiles (full list of topics). The successful candidates are expected to bring specific know how not available in the present consortium. They will benefit from access to the world leading competencies already present in the Graphene Flagship and be integrated into the scientific and technological work packages of the second core project under the Horizon 2020 phase of the flagship running from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2020.
This call is launched as a new step of the Graphene Flagship towards developing commercial applications of the technologies that have been created within the consortium. Indeed, as it was confirmed at the flagship's General Assembly in early April in Bologna (Italy), after the successful research results produced so far, now is the time to focus resources on specific areas where graphene and related materials could make a difference for Europe, i.e. solutions for 5G data transmission, solar energy and wearable electronics, among others.
