SRIW event: Rules for the Internet – End of Justice or Shared Responsibility?

This event, organised in Berlin by SRIW, the German Association Self-Regulation Information Economy, will focus on the question how the digital economy can best contribute to favour trust and enhance Internet security through Codes of Conduct.

The issues of which incentives and legal framework are needed to make this work, and what can be learnt from best-practice examples in other countries will also be addressed. The panel of speakers notably features two state secretaries from the German Ministry of Interior, Dr. Günter Krings, MdB, and the Ministry of Justice, Mr. Gerd Billen.

On the occasion of this event, SRIW will also present the first results of their study on “How to improve framework conditions for SR/CR”.
