The hackathon is organised by CloudOpting, a Cloud-based platform that enables governments and businesses to procure and deliver digital public services in a seamless manner. The Cloud platform will comprise of a Cloud infrastructure and tools that will assist public administrations in flexibly and effectively migrating their services to the Cloud.
As the CloudOpting platform is already in place, they want to provide you with the opportunity to explore the cloud platform and to engage with their business model which enable providers and local authorities to sell and subscribe to services from across Europe through a series of Hackathons.
The purpose of the hackathon is to increase the applications available in the marketplace, validate the platform and the business model, and to receive feedback from potential customers and providers of CloudOpting. Furthermore, the aim is to increase and spread the knowledge of the business opportunities of this new Public Marketplace.
This Hackathon is the first opportunity to join together and deliver a Single European Market for Public Services.
The Hackathon will be held in three different countries and organised on different days:
1) Technical Day:
- VITA Entrepreneurship Center, Sant Cugat del Valles (Spain): 2nd November, 2016.
- Corby Business Enterprise Centre, Corby (UK): 9th November, 2016.
- NetPort Science Park, Karlshamn (Sweden): 23rd November, 2016.
2) Networking Day:
- VITA Entrepreneurship Center, Corby Business Enterprise Centre and NetPort Science Park together: 1st December, 2016.
