
The main objective of the event is to bring together academics (universities, research centers) with the private sector : SMEs and large industries. A national-wide selection of researchers (up to 20) will present state of the art technologies in their domain and will demonstrate how those technologies can push innovation forward (economic impact).
The originality of this event is to give researchers less than two minutes to pitch their technologies. This is followed by a networking event with open discussions between the two interested parties, the presenter and the audience (researchers and SMEs).
The final objective of the event is to create partnerships between academics and SME/large industries for technology transfer.

The previous « Bourse aux Technologies » organized by the Institut Mines-Télécom gathered more than one hundred researchers from France in the the last 2 years.
