This workshop, organised by the FP7 SEMAFOUR project, addresses researchers, R&D engineers and technical developers involved in the planning, deployment or operations and maintenance of networks, within telecom operators, telecom vendors, SMEs and large companies active in the telecom sector.

The workshop on "Self-Management for Unified Heterogeneous Radio Access Networks" is the final workshop of the SEMAFOUR project. The workshop will start with an invited presentation setting the commercial context of self-management. Then the final results of the SEMAFOUR project will be presented with technical presentations, demonstrations and posters, followed by a forward-looking session on 'Future Network Management in 5G' with contributions from the H2020 projects 5G-NORMA and METIS-II.

The FP7 SEMAFOUR project aims at taking the operation and management of mobile wireless networks to the next level, by the design and development of a self-management system which enables the mobile network operators to manage and operate their heterogeneous radio access networks in a unified manner.
