The workshop was co-organised by Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) and Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) from the European Commission.
More than 160 experts and interested parties have registered to exchange views and underline the importance of digital skills for Open Source, its role as innovation enabler, Open Source and the ICT industry, Open Source in the public sector and many more.
Some of the sessions were pure discussion rounds whereas others were set-up around panellists with presentations followed by a round of questions and answers.
