The TTC is a key forum to deepen transatlantic cooperation to facilitate trade and develop global standards on technology and security. Geostrategic challenges, including Russia's unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine, have reinforced the importance of close coordination under the TTC.

The Trade and Technology Council (TTC) serves as a forum for the EU and the US to coordinate approaches to address key trade and technology issues, and to deepen transatlantic cooperation based on shared democratic values. At the third Ministerial Meeting of the TTC the EU and the US agreed on a number of outcomes on technological issues.
