State aid
The first part of the training session will be an introduction to State aid, the approval process, categories of 'no aid' measures, and investment and financing models. The second part of the training session will address requirements specific to grey areas: mapping and public consultation, good practices in dealing with over-building, the competitive selection process, and step change. Registration for this training session is open to all members of the European Broadband Competence Offices (BCOs) Network until the end of May.Speakers will include representatives from:

Throughout the day, each presentation will be followed by a discussion, and conclusions will be presented at the closing of the training session.
After the event, participants are invited to attend an early networking dinner.
