The second call for proposals of the SNS JU can be found on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal. With a deadline set for 25 April 2023, participants can now submit their proposals online.
On 14 December 2022, the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) adopted its Research & Innovation (R&I) Work Programme 2023-2024 (.pdf), announcing €132 million of EU funding for this second Call to advance 6G Research in Europe and to develop test and pilot infrastructure capabilities.
The second SNS Call will expand on the 35 SNS Phase 1 projects including Research and Innovation (R&I) and Innovation Actions (IA) projects that were selected from the first SNS call for proposals and launched on 1 January 2023. The SNS JU plays a key role in the implementation of an ambitious investment package, by managing an EU budget of EUR 900 million for the period 2021-2027. The private sector will contribute with equal resources to the SNS JU activities.
Potential applicants will have the opportunity to learn more and ask questions at the SNS Call 2 Information Day, taking place on 23 January 2023. They can also share their ideas and find partners by joining the SNS brokerage platform.
