The workshop will focus on how breakthrough technologies in innovation procurements can be supported to create new markets, and how to overcome the valley of death through the support of other mechanisms, such as venture capital support in combination with pre-commercial procurement. In addition, examples of successful commercialisation plans will be showcased. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and there is room for discussion.

The workshop is organised by the The European Assistance for Innovation Procurement (EAFIP) initiative. EAFIP supports public procurers across Europe in developing and implementing innovation procurement.
